Fall Bouldering League 2026

DYNO Detroit is proud to present our Bouldering League’s 2nd season! Whether you’re a V-Intro crusher or consider V5s a warmup, our V-Max Handicap System ensures a level playing field for everyone. This is your chance to add a whole new element of fun and friendly competition to your normal climbing routine. Assemble your crew of three, register on Redpoint, and let's get to it!

The Essentials

• Who: Teams of 3 | Ages 14+ | Open to members & non-members (all skill levels)

• Dates: Wednesday Nights | October 21 – November 18 (5-Week League)

• Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• Cost: $60 per team (Does not include general gym admission)

• Registration Deadline: October 21st (Full team of 3 required at signup)

League Schedule

Scoring & Rules

We use the V-Max Handicap System so every climber is scored relative to their own registered ability level:

• Top 3 Sends: Your weekly individual score comes from your three top climbs of the night.

• Team Score: Combined sum of all 3 team members' individual scores.

• Handicap Scoring: Earn additional points for climbs sent above your registered grade; earn fewer points for climbs sent below your grade.

• Flash Bonus: Earn +10 points for sending a route on your first try.

• Tie-Breakers: Decided by total attempts.

• Digital Logging: All climbs are logged on the KAYA app under the honor system.

• Integrity: All 3 teammates should be present each night. No climbing league routes early!

Gym Access

The $60 team registration fee covers entry into the league. Regular gym admission is required for each league night visit:

• Members: Included with membership 

• Punch Pass Holders: 1 punch per session.

• Guests: Day Pass required per visit - OR - purchase our new Boulder League pass! $120 for 5-weeks of unlimited climbing, including access to each league night.  Click here to sign up! 

How to Register

• Where: Register online via Redpoint.

• How: Your team captain registers on behalf of all 3 team members.

• When: Registration closes October 21st. Full team required at sign-up!
